Janet Gold is a pastellist and oil painter who has studied with many well-known, accomplished artists: Bob Gerbracht of Pinole, California; Daniel Greene of New York; Ben Konis of Amarillo, Texas; Urania Christy Tarbet of California and others.
Gold is a recognized artist whose work has been accepted into many juried art competitions around the country, exhibited at the Triton Museum and Los Gatos Fine Arts Museum and at other art competitions over the past several years. These competitions have yielded multiple honors, monetary awards and ribbons.
Janet is a member of the Los Gatos Art Association, Sierra Pastel Society, Society of Western Artists, Pastel Society of the West Coast, Alliance of Visual Artists, Santa Clara Art Association, Placerville Art Association, the Northwest Pastel Society, and the Saratoga Contemporary Artists.
