the second Saturday, 1:00 - 3:00 pm.

In April and October, members and guests are invited to attend receptions for LGAA Annual Open or Member Juried Shows at the Art Museum of Los Gatos. There is no July meeting because of Independence Day celebrations and summer vacations. The December meeting (at the usual time and day) is for Holiday festivities including the presentation of Peer Group Awards, live music, and other special social activities.
All LGAA members (or those considering membership)
as well as guests are welcomed. At general meetings, club and
art news is discussed and concluded in short order. After a mix
and mingle coffee break, a demonstration is presented by a Bay
Area artist.

Monthly Peer Group Judging
All Members are invited to bring one original piece of art to each general meeting to be judged by their peers. First, second and third place ribbons are given at this Artist of the Month competition. At our Holiday Social in December, the artist with the most placing points is awarded Artist of the Year. The rules for our peer group judging is available at our monthly general meetings.

Finally there's a use for those art materials you didn't like or don't need anymore! Label them with a price tag and bring them to our monthly meetings in JUNE & NOVEMBER. Either sell them to other LGAA members or donate sales to the association. Contact the A.R.T. Chair, Sue Lucas for more information.
LGAA Bulletin Board
Look at the bulletin board set up at monthly meetings for news about local shows, receptions, classes, new ventures, and other items of interest. You may also bring your own ads to tack onto it.
