Welcome to the LGAA
We are a non-profit organization established in 1948 dedicated to the enrichment and support of the arts community.
Our mission is to promote creative expression in the pictorial and allied arts by fostering high standards,
extending appreciation and encouraging cooperation and camaraderie among artists.
Membership is open to all artists and art supporters by application on the Membership page.
General Meetings are held monthly on the second Saturday 1:00 - 3:00pm
at the Los Gatos Adult Recreation Center: 208 E. Main St., Los Gatos.
LGAA members (or those considering membership) as well as guests are welcomed to attend to watch the demo and meet the members.

Topic: Plein Air Painting
Will Maller began his formal study of art at the Walker Museum in Minneapolis at the age of 14
and in the last few years has done professional studies with Bob Gerbach, Albert Handel, and Huihan Lui.
He was one of the fifty finalists in Southwest Art Magazine's "21 National Artists over 31."

Claire Schroeven Verbiest
Topic: Still Life Painting
An award-winning artist and a signature member of several art societies,
Claire teaches watercolor and pastel painting classes and conducts painting workshops throughout the US, Canada and Europe.
She frequently serves as a juror for local art shows.

The Los Gatos Art Association sponsors an outdoor painting event every Monday at selected locations.
