2025 Members' Juried Show

Competition and Online Show 

The Los Gatos Art Association has a long-held tradition in which LGAA members compete in a juried show. The special award, Peoples Choice Award, provides a vehicle for the members to become the judge. This event was held in an online venue at the Show Submit website.

All the competing artists chose one favorite piece of their own artwork to submit for a judges consideration. All active members were invited to vote online for the Peoples Choice Award. The voting was held by secret ballot in an online survey. 

Prizes awarded: $300 - Best in Show, $200-First Place, $150 - Second Place, $100 - Third Place, $100 - Peoples' Choice and(8) $25 - Honorable Mentions. Ribbons are presented to all winners. In addition, the winning artists are able to add their award and place title to their art resumes.

LGAA announces the upcoming online 2025 LGAA Members' Online Show (MOS).

Juror:
Dmitry Grudsky, is a professional artist with more than 35 years of experience. His specialty is in water medium and mosaic art. Dmitry started his art career and education by taking art classes in early childhood, continued in art college and on to higher education. He has participated in many National and International Shows and is a Signature Member of the following art societies: Society of West Coast Artists, California Watercolor Association, North West Watercolor Society and Watercolor West. Dmitry has lived in the California Bay Area for the last 35 years. Bay Area scenery reminds Dmitry of his native Uzbekistan’s landscape. He finds that travel, observing nature and meeting new people provide inspiration for him to create paintings. Art has always been a natural way for Dmitry to express himself and to communicate to the world.

Exhibition awards will be limited to one (1) per member

Members' Online Show Details

1. The 2025 LGAA Members' Online Show is open to all registered LGAA Members, 18 years or older, whose dues are current. Work(s) must be original and must have been completed within the last two years.

2. Maximum of three (3) pieces of artwork can be submitted to the show.  The juror may choose up to three entries per artist.

3. All work(s) entered must not have been accepted for a previous juried competition or online juried show.

4. As this is an online show, there are no size restrictions on work(s) submitted.

5. Works do not have to be for sale (enter NFS on the entry form).  LGAA will not take a commission on any work that is sold. All sales for any artwork will be between the artist and buyer. Please note: Any prices listed on submitted art cannot be changed after submission to the online website.

6. Entries may be representational or abstract work(s): 2D and 3D art, Drawing, Painting, Digital, Mixed Media and Sculpture.
